Bad Day?? You Have No Idea

rebelliousunoYou know its going to be a bad day when it starts at about 2:15am with a phone call from A&E at the northern general asking you to come collect a patient.
Seems that at 11:20 ish last night my dad was taken by ambulance into hospital with head injuries. He'd been out with some friends and had been dropped off in High Green by a taxi which was carrying on towards barnsley. He was found (once the ambulance had been called by someone) just up the hill from where we think the taxi would have dropped him off. Apparently he told the paramedics that he fell however missing were his jacket phone wallet and glasses. Also upon taking a little drive up to the scene found a rather large puddle of what seemed to be blood. *sigh* I've had about 2 hours sleep atm .... appologies if I'm somewhat cranky tonight
