So when we last saw our heroes that had "Infiltrated" research station shantipole..

And had begun a firefight in the hanger with only about 7 minutes remaining till explodey time.

Arjen was in a corridoor with the rest of the party underneath a shuttle which had been loaded with B-Wing prototypes...

Vreego was about to board the shuttle but first he needs to deal with 2 pilots who are making their way aboard.

He fires at one missing badly.

So he decides to charge one with his rifle mounted bayonet...a force point later and 8 points of damage later the pilot is deaded with a stabba.

THe other pilot tries to shoot him a bit but misses so Vreego blasts him somewhat then moves to start powering up the ship and weapons....


Some other stuff goes on outside involving people.....

Vreego blows up most of the com tower with the ship weapons leaving a horribly injured officer barely alive...at least he's not using his talents any more....

More Stormtroopers show up who promptly get autofired/autofried..

prompting the quote "Do not stare into the operational end of the device."

THen the turning begins....

and the shooting continues

at some point the other party members get on board either the shuttle or the alabac's gold....with a cooking of stormtroopers from Ion wash Vreego takes the ship outside and is set upon by a pesky tie pilot...whoom he precedes to blow up a bit.

THen they eventually discover that the B-Wings are fully armed and opperational....

and a plan is hatched....

So

That leaves us going into a battle with a Nebulon B with 1 Lamda (ish) shuttle
one Mon Calamari Freighter (similar to a YT-1300 IIRC) and 2 Experimental B-Wing prototypes...

So We rejoin our heros in the middle of a firefight with a bunch of stormtroopers

Arjen is attempting to revive Vreego after his horrible near fatal injuries.

His first attempt to stem the bleeding fails..Vreego took much more of a hit than it first appeared. The second attempt brought Vreego back from the brink of death...5HP (and at -10 to everything too) from the brink....The fight was long and hard until a giant tree snake thing that could handily only see black and white (ie stormtroopers) came onto the walk way and started devouring things....Hmm those troopers must have come from somewhere.

So Lavrek and Vreego go to scout the landing pad.

They see an Imperial Assault Shuttle 10 more Storm troopers and 2 Gunners....Bugger.

The plan became to begin sniping at them from long range Hopefully we could take them down before the guns powered up and toasted us....

So after Stealing borrowing Arjen's rifle and scope Jack and Vreego crept into position...where upon we took 20 on Initiative.....
A first shot (crit) takes the head off a stormtrooper...the hide failed and they see our position. But we carry on sniping. More troopers go down..the guns on the ship power up....fuck

...More shooting followed till our ship started powering up and moving Vreego and Jack leg it to get aboard the ship...

How do you stop an exploding Assassin Droid?

Well that was good fun

Little slow to get off the ground this morning mostly due to Voice Chat issues which hopefully Joel will get sorted out soon
