Some of you are wondering or were wondering what was wrong with the car
So the short answer is that the linkage between the Gearstick and the Gear box has snapped...this means that the car will go into gear...but not out of gear....This due to the specifity of the part and its location is going to cost £200 to fix...bugger....
So far this month I have spent on the car
£70 - New Battery
£430 - Service (New Exhaust, Brake Disks, Pads)
£200 - Repair Gears

£700 - TOTAL
Man these things are far too expensive.....

Date: 2009-02-02 05:16 pm (UTC)Cars are lame. In June or so I will have to pass emissions again and my check engine light has been going on and off for months now. I predict at least $600 worth of repairs and we have no money. Ugh. Cars.
